KiiT-IS Library Reading Bag
'KiiT-IS Library Reading Bag' is a part of Reading culture initiative. This is available free for every child starting school in 2023 to help them to prepare for their next big step in education. Reading Bag can help to increase a child’s motivation to read, they can help to build a strong home/school connection. This is because they provide a way for parents to be involved in their child’s reading and to support what they are learning in the school library.
- Safeguarding the issued books and other documents damaged by water, dust, pets, and young children.
- Book bags will show our responsible approach for the school property and expects the same from users and the parents.
- It’s a token of appreciation for the young reader
- You can easily keep this bag in your school bag.
- It is a water resistant and feel good container of the library books.

- Student need to bring the RLB every library class.
- As per the instructions by the librarian they have to write in reading log book
KiiT-IS Reading Challenge Programme
Participants need to read 15 age appropriate Books
Early years: 200 pages, Participant’s need to read in the library (Nursery to UKG)
Pre Primary: 500 pages, Participant’s need to read in the library (Grade 1-2 )
Primary: 1000 Pages, Participant’s need to read (Grade 3-5)
Middle years: 1500 Pages, Participant’s need to read (Grade 6-8)
Secondary: 2000 Pages, Participant’s need to read (Grade 9-10)
Higher Secondary: 2500 Pages, Participant’s need to read (Grade 11 and 12)
Teachers and Staff members: 2500 Pages, Participant’s need to read (From whole school)
