Mother's Day
Mother’s Day 2022 in India: This is celebrated in India on the second Sunday of May every year, and this year the celebration will fall on May 8, 2022.
Mother’s Day weekend is upon us, and it is undoubtedly an unusual time to celebrate the #1 lady in your life. Mother is one who can take the place of all others, but nobody can take her place, and we all know this could be an axiomatic truth. From the day her child is born to the day she breathes her last, a mother only lives for her child.
A mother’s love is unconditional and pure for her children. Mother’s Day is a celebration of a mother’s love, her relentless contribution, sacrifice towards her child and family. The word mother evokes a stir of emotions in everyone’s hearts. A mother’s love is one of a kind and is unlike any other.

History
The origin of Mother’s Day as we know it took place in the early 1900s. A woman named Anna Jarvis started a campaign for an official holiday honoring mothers in 1905, the year her own mother died. The first larger-scale celebration of the holiday was in 1908, when Jarvis held a public memorial for her mother in her hometown of Grafton, West Virginia.
